Born and raised in South Florida, I am a vibrant island girl of Trinidadian descent. I accredit my engineering dreams to my high school calculus teacher, a female chemical engineer. I am passionate about people and society, and how they interact with technology. In my spare time I enjoy teaching myself graphic and web design.
Balance is probably my most defined characteristic. I always emphasize fairness and equality in all aspects of life. A balanced work-life is extremely important to me. My Caribbean roots play a significant role in my core principle - work hard for what you want, but never forget to enjoy what you've earned.
