Super Secret Bonus Lab!
In today's lab we're going to practice reading and improve someone else's code.
This may seem boring/frustrating or trivial, but is a large part of what real programming projects are like.
On the bright side, there's nothing new to learn or be presented so all your challenges won't be C++ based, but communication based.
Directions
- Find a partner/friend/enemy
- Trade the code from one of your previous labs with that partner, and vice versa. You should get the .cpp file for one of your partner's labs, and they should get the .cpp file for one of yours
The labs you trade must be a lab between 4-9 (the calendar and the map and everything in between)
- Once you have a lab picked out, please sign in at the front with your name and which lab you're working on
- MAKE A COPY of the original lab, in a new cpp file or whatever, so you have a copy of it
- Work on this copy of the lab you have, and improve it in any way you can imagine. Follow the lab objective if some haven't been completed, or add your own new creative things. Make it cool and impressive
- EMAIL YOUR LAB (the original copy and your new one) (just the .cpp file) TO THE GRADER BY 6:30
- We'll spend the next 30 minutes presenting/grading these resubmissions as a class (Wednesday?)
