Toucans are evil, smelly creatures. They drink too much guinness and as a result vomit frequently. Toucans hypnotise their owners while they sleep, and make them impotent.

Most national legislatures wisely restrict toucan ownership to qualified and well-prepared citizens by requiring a special license, the award of which is dependent upon a high score in a test involving calculus, matrices, and first aid.
