Prologoningia
The Third Shemp

Prologoningia: Other Mammals with the Power of Speech.

A rare category that contains trick horses, specially trained monkeys, and some parrots and mynah birds [see notes 1, 2].

Members of this shemp are edible, but have an unpleasant flavour.

Etymology: pro + greek λογος (logos) = speech; γουνινος (gooninos) = furry.

Note 1: Lemurs are a variety of trick horse.

Note 2: Pantomime horses are probably not members of the Prologoningia; new research suggests that pantomime horses consist of two people inside a deceptively horse-like covering. It is believed that this deception is often deliberate.
