Pseudohominia
The Eighteenth Shemp

Pseudohominia: Virusses.

Virusses are microscopically small creatures that superficially resemble human beings, in that they consist of matter and have a shape, which led to them being known as false men. Until the eighteenth century it was believed that virusses were proto-humans, and conception occurred when a virus was stimulated by the nutritious elements in sperm to start to grow to normal size.

Etymology: from Latin pseudo = false, hominem = of mankind.
