What this stuff means

The two most common chords

A2:
e 0
b 0
G 2
D 2
A 0
E x

D6-9/A:
e 0
b 0
G 2
D 0
A 0
E x
(To make this chord just a D6-9 without the /A part, just don't play the A string)
Notice they're almost the same chord: To play the D6-9/A chord, just take your finger off of the D string
To get a cool effect, flip the G string from 2 to 1 every now and then, or the b string from 0 to 2
