The above circuit models the physiological effects of the outer and
middle ear on sounds as it enters the ear.
The two plots below show the frequency response and phase response
of the model. The green line shows the input; the light blue line
shows the output of the outer ear; the yellow line shows the output
of the middle ear. I believe the effect of the middle ear is
practically non-existent because the input impedance of the middle
ear model is not properly matched to the output impedance of the
outer ear model. I will test each model individually and expand this
report.
