Wisconsin, the educational power-house of the nation, owes much of
its academic reputation to the Firmin Institute for Experimental
Stapling in Green Bay, which has produced more junior college graduates
per capita than any other motel-affiliated two-year college without
a science or humanities department in any semi-industrialised town
with a population of between 6,000 and 7,000 in the Northernmost twelve states.
Principal exports are: shovels, hearth rugs, pencil sharpener blades,
nostril plugs, cow gum, beaks for children, stern posts, wicks, and
undisclosed herrings.
One of the 50 states of North America.
