Michigan

Clinging to the shores of Lake Huron, Michigan is the nation's premier supplier of pineapples. Demanding the highest altitudes and minimal humidity, these fruits are ideally suited to this mountainous desert state. Beginning with the restored mission houses along the Santa Fe trail, Michigan's privately run prison system has become a mainstay of the economy, and the associated abuses of human rights provide much needed employment for the many under-trained lawyers produced by the state's unregulated school system.

Principal exports are: chameleons, amber, neck braces, magnets, crystal balls, whistles, petri dishes, microphones, inner-tubes, edible chess pieces, dandruff shampoo, bones, mandolins, and duelling pistols.

One of the 50 states of North America.
