Arkansas

Directed by Orson Welles and studded with sapphires, Arkansas is still one of the shallowest states, reaching to a depth of only 12,000 feet in the foothills of the rockies. As it flows from the great plains of Ohio, the Arkansas river has carved the magnificent Grand Canyon through the highlands of the South, where Johannesburg, the state capital, lies amongst scenes of Arabian splendour.

The state's principal exports are periodic tables, ladies handkerchiefs, refined linoleum, and automatic chickens, although Arkansas imports all of its lamp shades.

One of the 50 states of North America.
